Home Remedies to reduce belly fat


  • Honey & Lemon

Mix a tablespoon of honey and fresh lemon juice with one medium glass of hot water. This is best done first thing after waking up in the morning. Honey helps in dissolving the fat while vitamin c in lemon juice helps in flushing out the fat in the body.

  • Hot water in an empty stomach:

Drinking around 1 litre of lukewarm water first thing in the morning even before answering natures call helps to cleanse the body thoroughly of the toxic wastes, tones the metabolic system and thus helps in fat loss

  • Raw Tomatoes:

Raw tomatoes are rich in fibre, water and phytonutrients like lycopene. Fibre is good for dissolving the fat in the body while lycopene is an excellent antioxidant which reduces the oxidative stress in the body

  • Ginger, Honey and Pepper:

Make a tea by boiling ginger in water. Add honey and pepper to it. Ginger and pepper are thermogenic they increase the metabolic rate while honey helps in dissolving the fat

  • Mint leaves, Honey and Pepper:

A similar tea as mentioned above again helps in burning the fat and soothing the abdomen

  • Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar, when consumed with your food, gives a feeling of fullness which causes less intake of food. Also, it regulates the blood  sugar level and lowers LDL and HDL levels in the blood which may eventually lead t weight loss

  • Curry Leaves:

It stimulates the digestive enzymes, regulates blood sugar and cholesterol levels, aids in detoxification and thus helps in weight loss

  • Triphala Churna:

Triphala Churna is a mild laxative, which cleanses the gastrointestinal tract. It is made from the three most important herbs in Ayurveda: Indian gooseberry, Myrobalan and  Terminalia bellirica.

  • Cardamom:

Cardamom is used for weight loss as it acts as a digestive aid and also has antispasmodic properties which help in promoting good metabolism. It is also a good detoxifying agent

  • Honey and Cinnamon:

Add half teaspoon of cinnamon powder to a glass of water and boil. Add one teaspoon of honey and take it before breakfast and before going to bed. The mixture helps in regulating blood glucose and cholesterol levels and is a good thermogenic fat burner.
